| Job Description: |
This leading Organisation is seeking a Mechanical Engineers – Utilities and Process.
The Organisations is currently developing and expanding the facilities in the Al Shaheen Field offshore Qatar. Due to this expansion mechanical engineers are required to support the maintenance area, organized under the Production Operations Maintenance department onshore.
The candidates will be responsible for the following areas and tasks.
• Maintenance of mechanical equipment within process and utility.
• Organizing spare parts within the area of responsibility.
• Maximizing reliability of the equipment within area of responsibility.
• Accountable for maintenance cost within area of responsibility.
• Implementation of planned, preventive maintenance procedures and guidelines.
• Support to the onshore and offshore organization.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors and maintain cost effective and high quality service.
• Remain updated on technical development within the area of responsibility.
• Participate in inspection, test and introduction of new equipment as part of the field development.
You will be based in the clients main office in Doha, Qatar and will report to the head of mechanical maintenance.
Qualifications:
The candidates shall be a qualified mechanical engineer or marine engineer.
The candidates shall preferable have minimum 2 years working experience with maintenance of mechanical systems within the upstream oil and gas industry.
The candidates must be a team player with good communication and planning skills. Furthermore the candidates must be initiative, self-motivating, systematic, goal oriented and service minded.
Excellent verbal and written English skills are imperative in this position.
