Job Description
Responsible for the delivery of the highest possible standards of patient centred care and counselling during fertility treatment and IVF. Ensures compliance with internationally accepted ethics and standards of medical practice and initiates and implements clinical audit programmes to monitor such care and standards. Utilises leading edge information system and automation in the achievement of these goals. Is responsible for the effective management and development of the department staff, and the maintenance of the physical environment and resources.

Person Specification
Qualifications:
Graduate of a recognised medical school. Membership of Royal College of Obstetricians/Gynaecologists, American Board or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of six years post Board/Membership in specialty. Good verbal and written communication skills. English essential, Arabic desirable
Responsible to: Medical Director/Operational Manager
Liaises with: Administration, Medical, Nursing and paramedical staff.
Hours:-A minimum of 48 hours per week
Muscat Private Hospital opened in October 2000 and is the largest private medical facility in Oman and the only private medical facility that is a public listed company.
Muscat Private Hospital is a general hospital with 72 beds including high dependency beds and neonatal intensive care cot’s. Comprehensive Outpatient and Emergency Department services are available.
