Design Engineer - SolidWorks – China office

DETEKT Design is a growing international product design and engineering firm with offices in Melbourne, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Taipei, that offers candidates an exciting career. Due to strong growth in our engineering service we are currently seeking Design Engineers with more than 3 years of working experience to join our team on a full-time basis.
A Design Engineer with a proficiency in Solid Works is sought. Knowledge of Injection Moulding practice and Plastic Part engineering a must. Die Casting and Metal Stamping/Pressings knowledge would be ideal. The ability to apply engineering theory and carry out calculations on consumer and industrial product will be beneficial.

1.Production Engineering Experience.
2.Create manufacturing documentation from the modeled components and assemblies.
3.Create release documentation and follow-up change documentation as required.
4.Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
5.Conceptualize and model in 3-D CAD (SolidWorks or PRO-E).
6.Manage the planning, scheduling, and project reporting of projects.
7.Trouble shoot, propose solutions and document engineering changes for product problems.
