Minimum Qualifications
This is NOT an ESL Position
Fluent in English (No other language skills required)
2 years formal teaching experience.
College Degree
Women only because all the other teachers are women and this is Saudi.
Because there is not enough housing, you may NOT bring your family.
For Visa reasons the candidates must be from North America. Either American or Canadian
Details
One year Contract –
School year from September to June
Round trip travel
Free furnished housing
Local Transportation
Tax free salary $32,000 for 9 months job
Plus $1,230 end of school year bonus.
Opportunity to additional income as private tutor. (You can make your separate arrangements)

The School:
American Style International School In Saudi Arabia. The school is part of a large hospital complex with many ex patriots on staff. The student body is multi-cultural but English speaking with a maximum of about 250 children in grades K-9 with a principal and 13 to 15 teachers. The students are the dependents of doctor's working at the hospital. They are not Saudis. It is in a modern building and uses the American system with the usual school year from September to June and the usual work day. Classes are small and teachers have time to provide individual attention to the children.
Most of the teachers and the principal are from the United States, Canada or the UK. The remaining faculty members are employed from the local expatriate community. Highly qualified, certified teachers with experience are sought throughout the year.
