Come work for the best. Local steel company is in the need for a Maintenance Mechanic. Qualified candidate would possess strong Electrical Skills-will operate a variety of metal working equipment to repair worn or broken parts and/or manufacture replacement parts from various metals. Candidates will have experience working on 5 Ton- 20 Ton Magnetic controlled and A/C drive controlled overhead cranes.
Must be able to read and understand wiring schematics and blueprints that include location of electrical circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards and other electrical equipment.
This is primarily a first shift, but candidate may be on call. |
| Skills Required: |
Must be able to follow the National Electrical Code and comply with state and lcoal building codes related to electricla distribution. Must have working knowledge of code adn theory requirememnts. Must possess a certificate was a graduate industrial electrician from an accredited 2yr. college or have 4yr exp. as an industrial electrician in a heavy industirla environment.
Must be able to perform routine maintenance on a variety of electricla, hydraulic, pneumatic adn mechanical equipment to include both preventive and repair maintenance. Need to have strong background in overhead cranes, magnetic motor controls, variable frequency drives adn PLC's. |
