As the corporate Metallurgist, you will be responsible for quality assurance and specifications of metal products purchased for use. You will develop and maintain a professional working relationship with the personnel involved at metals suppliers, and other company locations, and customers to assure quality products and continued product development. You will also promote metallurgy, supplier quality assurance and customer technical service as a means to improve our product quality, increase our market share, increase our profits and decrease our cost of operations |
Skills Required:: |
Posses a BS degree in metallurgy, Metallurgical Enginn=eering or Materials science. Speak Conversaional English, 3 years exerience as a metallurgist/metallurgical engineer in a metal producing mill or service center enviroment performing the following duties-supervision, inspections, audits, customer technical service/relations and report writing. Must have a through understanding of material standers such as ASTM. Workingknowledge in basic statistical techniques, measuremetn tools and devices, and failure analysis. Capabilities for overnight travel |
