A 75+ year old world class industrial controls supplier with a track record of producing reliable, made-to-last, user friendly, cost effective industrial products seeks to aggressively pursue increased sales in Western Canada and the bordering states by adding a Regional Sales Manager. Since this is a newly created position, there is tremendous, “sky is the limit” opportunity for a mid-career, ambitious, career-focused industrial controls/instrumentation sales professional who has a proven blend of hunter’/farmer attributes.
Duties:
The chosen applicant will be responsible for managing all aspects of a sales account including new account development -- which will entail a significant amount of outside sales calls -- while maintaining & cultivating the current customer base. Chosen applicant will be selling primarily to the process industries (e.g. petroleum) related industries. The sales territory includes all Western Canada, bordering states plus Oregon.

| Skills Required: |
The qualified individual will have a proven track record -- 3+ years -- of outside or distribution sales experience selling to the process industries. A 4-year degree is required. Must be willing to dedicate the time – minimum of travel is 50% -- and effort required to make this a successful position. Applicant must be located within Edmonton or Calgary.
