Special Requirements:
- BS in Engineering
-Five years experience in manufacturing environment
-Must demonstrate project team leadership
-Experience in all phases in Capital project planning (justification, specifications, scheduling, procurement, and installation)
-LEAN manufacturing
-Line balancing, plant layout, manpower planning and capacity analysis will be beneficial
-Six sigma black belt a plus
Job Description:
This position is responsible for planning, developing, communicating, and implementing a variety of cross-functional projects within a vertically integrated manufacturing facility. Typical projects include new product launches, product conversions and material and/or process conversions. The primary focus of the position is to achieve world-class speed through best practice project management of concurrent development and design for manufacture. Duties include creating, negotiate and maintain cross-functional project management systems within Manufacturing to enable effective and timely execution to critical path deadlines.
*Concurrent design for manufactures best practices
*Project scope shall span from development through commercialization
*Form and lead project teams
*Adhere to critical path timelines and deliver project objectives
*Communicate project status/results to senior management
*Integrate project management systems with Process Engineering
*Provide leadership and training to develop project management skills
