| Job Description: |
This leading Organisation is seeking a Risk Manager for a permanent role based in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
*manage and coordinate the Risk Process for the O&G Middle East commercial operations interfacing with Com Ops and supporting functions (Legal, Finance, Technology, Mfg etc)
*Develop risk mitigation plans
*Interface directly with ITO, OTR, Finance and Technology Group as part of the ITO Risk Process
*Assist in developing/implementing standard risk mitigation techniques
*Establish a solid collaboration/process with functions
*Make sure that risk deviations are highlighted and mitigated/approved as per Risk Process
*Develop the operating rhythm for Risk Reviews and reporting to HQ
*Own the Risk Metrics for ME Hub
*Continuous Risk Training to ComOps and functions
* Position reports directly to Risk Management Leader O&G Global Services
In order to apply you should have the following:
Qualifications:
* Fluent in English, (Italian knowledge is a plus).
* 7+ years experience in 2 or more of the following areas: Risk Management in Industrial businesses, Project Management, Commercial Operations, Commercial Finance.
* 7 yr / 10yr. Degree in Technical field or equivalent experience.
* Ability to manage and measure programs/processes (action items, scheduling,metrics)
*Basic Understanding of re-injection plants or other Oil & Gas plants performance variables.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, process management skills
* Financial/Technical analysis acumen.
*Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
*Proficient PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
*Knowledgeable in Excel to include Macro and Pivot Table generation.
