Finance & Accounting
-team General Ledger (gl)
-team Accounts Payable (ap)
Major Responsibilities Gl:
• Perform reconciliations (e.G. Bank, inter-company, sub-ledgers)
• Calculate and post accruals
• Create and process journal entries
• Run interfaces between different accounting systems / modules (if required)
• Maintain accounting codes / chart of accounts
• Process bank transactions
• Perform treasury and forecasting activities
• Communicate with client and sort issues / queries
• Perform month-end activities and close books
• Review accounts and perform account analysis (e.G. Actual versus budget)
Major Responsibilities Ap:
• Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with suppliers and sort queries
• Process transactions (invoices, credit notes)
• Perform supplier account reconciliations
• Prepare, initiate and perform payments
• Process travel & expense transactions
• Set-up and maintain supplier database
• Perform month-end activities and close books

| Skills Required: |
Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge of one or more of these languages is required - German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Dutch, English
• English at a communicative level
• Secondary education or higher with Accountancy / Banking / Finance background
• User PC skills (knowledge of Oracle or SAP can be an advantage, but training is provided)
• Analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong problem solving abilities
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team
• Open to new cultures and habits
