Principal Piping and Stress Engineers
Responsibilities:
Perform piping stress and support engineering; field installation
and commissioning assistance for critical piping systems for
FPSO`s: onshore plant or offshore platform projects.
Prepare piping stress analysis design basis and specifications,
detailed stress and load calculations, piping layout and support
model reviews, spring hanger and speciality support data sheets
Prerequisites:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years’ of material, stress engineering experience with onshore or offshore plant projects.
Stress Engineers must have at least 4 years’ of experience with
CAESAR II stress analysis software and familiar with Version 4.3
or latest version.
Possesses good interpersonal skills.
With thorough knowledge of the codes; standards of offshore engineering practices applicable to piping design for oil and gas facilities.
Working experience on projects with a recognized company within the offshore Oil & Gas Industry.
