Job Description:
„XResponsible for the administration and maintenance of servers, switches, routers and firewall services to an Enterprise network consisting of Linux and Windows Servers.
„XBuilds, configures, troubleshoots and integrates new and existing servers to provide service enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
„XLinux system administration functions such as complete system integration, rebuilds, install required patches, back-ups.
„XRecommends software and hardware enhancements, diagnoses and corrects issues.
„XDefines and implements new services with the goal of achieving maximum server uptime and availability for the customers.
„XResponsible for monitoring performance and system usage.
„XFollows Standard Operating Procedures and utilizes established support tools.
„XOn-call duties and extended hours working are required.
„XServer and workstation builds, patching and back-ups.
„XInstalling, racking and mounting servers.
„XEnsures training is provided to users where required. Reports system readiness to senior management.

Skills Required:: |
Job Requirements:
„XExperience working with Red Hat Linux.
„XExtensive knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN and physical layer devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
„XPossesses a strong understanding of hardware (desktop computers, servers, switches, firewalls, and routers, etc.), concepts of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), and networking (LAN, WAN, etc.)
„XA minimum of 5 years experience in network/system administration or a related field.
„XExperience with Oracle, Perl, PHP, and JavaScript is a plus.
„XExperience working in an Enterprise Level Data Center Environment.
„XBS in Computer Science or related field.
