| Job Description: |
- more than 5years Experience designing progressive die for high speed punching.
- Minimum 5 years experience generating 3D models and 2D CAD drawings and assemblies.
- An Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and education,
- Good communication, organization, math and computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical drafting techniques and international drafting standards.
- The ability to use and understand precision measuring tool and general hand tools to examine and document products.
- The ability to learn quickly and keep pace with scientific and engineering developments.
- The right candidate must be self motivated, have the ability to work and make decisions with very little supervision and be able to establish good working relationships with all internal functions. Person must thrive in a sometimes very busy environment and possess the ability to keep track of several projects simultaneously.
Helpful
Good understanding of the processes used in tool manufacturing
Experience working with the metric system and experience working in an ISO 9001/TS16949 environment is considered a plus.
