| Job Description: |
The QESH Manager heads the Quality, Environment, Safety & Health Department. S/he reports to the Senior Vice President for Business Development and supervises the members of the unit.
The QESH Manager plans, develops and implements the Quality, Environment, Safety & Health program of the Company and its subsidiaries. S/he is responsible for the Company’s crisis management program and the successful implementation of the industry’s best practices in QESH.
Additionally, the QESH Manager facilitates management audits, prepares audit reports and ensures the achievement of progressive improvements to the Company’s QESH performance.
S/he liaises with government agencies such as DENR, EMB, DOH, BOC, LLDA, NWRB and PPA for compliance with regulatory requirements. S/he represents the Company in the ESH network council and coordinates with other functional groups to ensure smooth resolution of escalated problems.
The QESH Manager is responsible for the Department’s operational plan, budget, and manpower requirements.
The ideal candidate must be a licensed Engineer with at least three (3) years in ESH administration. |
Skills Required:: |
S/he is experienced in handling and motivating people. S/he has demonstrated competencies in communication, training and evaluation programs.
