| Job Description: |
Principal accountabilities
- To carry out duties as instructed by Electrical Technician I in charge. To perform work safely and to adhere BSP house rules and HSE Standard Module 10 (Electrical Safety Rules), HSE Module 13 (General Electrical Safety) and HSE Module 03 (Permit To Work Procedure).
- To maintain good housekeeping in work area in the platform, and to use proper/suitable tools in doing EX rectification works.
- To report to Electrical Technician I who is reporting to BSP WOP/113E Senior Electrical Technician daily. And to also seek support from them if necessary.
- To assist other Electrical Technician II in doing rectification works and to ensure work is done in a safely manner.
- To ensure housekeeping is done after activity completed and/or before leaving manned/unmanned platform.
- The replacement of non-HAC compliant EX equipment with EX certified equipment such as generators,socket outlets, marine lanterns, floodlights, Remote Control Units RCU, fluorescent light fittings, emergency light fittings, cable glands, junction boxes, motors & pumps. Cable replacement activities shall also be included.
- Provide first aid painting for corroded Ex Equipment e.g. on pumps and motors.
- To reinstate the missing equipment Ids, equipment nameplates, and cable Ids.
- To conduct various activities as specified on the given work packs.
- Assume the responsibility of Electrical Technician I during his absence.

| Skills Required: |
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ level in English medium or equivalent.
- ble to speak and write good English.
Preferred
- Technical qualification in Electrical from any recognized institution.
- Have a basic knowledge of electrical safety.
Experience
- At least 1-2 years hands-on experience in oil and gas industrial electrical maintenance
Training
- Electrical Safety Rules ESR
- Basic First Aid course
- BOSIET
