IT Engineer Job description.
The successful candidate will be a Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on continues improvement. They will possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, Hard and soft skills, initiative, drive and a commitment to the success of our operations.
IT Engineers responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Installing and maintaining IT and Broadcast equipment, systems and services.
Assist in the maintenance of all IT systems and infrastructure.
Maintain server, applications and security updates.
Provide help desk services to station personnel.
Maintenance of broadcast and IT equipment and systems.
Install, configure and or program new station equipment and systems.
Assist in the documentation of systems and procedures.
Maintain equipment and or systems preventive maintenance programs.
Assist other departments when needed to deliver the best possible News, information and entertainment.
Maintain a valid California drivers licenses and clean driving record.

| Skills Required: |
Minimum requirements:
College degree or equivalent technical certifications in computer science
Minimum of three years Broadcast IT experience.
Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.
Documented work experience in Macintosh and Microsoft Windows environments including Active Directory, Exchange, MS-SQL, Server 2000 and 2003, IIS and all Microsoft Office products and Sonic Firewalls, Cisco and 3Com routers and switches.
Attention to detail, organized and thorough with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Proficiency in the installation and maintenance of Broadcast equipment including Business, Sales and accounting systems and networks.
The ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Must be able to work weekends and be on call.
Valid California Drivers License.
