| Job Description: |
Principal Duties:
• Perform various Safety/operations/maintenance duties on drilling & workover rigs including safety training, operation assistance & technical support on maintenance programs.
• Ensure contractors meet all requirement of contract from safety standpoint, correct any unsafe practices & making sure all rig personnel comply with company established safety standards & procedures.
• Co-ordinate safety courses for employees between superintendents of Drilling & Workover training unit.
• Work closely with company Loss Prevention Department in developing programs & achieving safety goals & objectives.
• Resolve Operational & maintenance issues with company Rig Maintenance Unit.

Skills Required:: |
• BS in Petroleum / Mechanical Engineering OR Equivalent
• Have a minimum of Seven Years of experience in drilling engineering.
• Have a valid certificate in Safety related courses..
• Have a progressively responsible experience (including supervisory experience) in oil operations and plant maintenance.
• Experience in Loss Prevention activities would be highly desirable.
