Qualifications
• Preferably a graduate of Business Administration, Finance or any related course
• At least three (3) years experience in supervisory or management position with relevant training/application in accounting
• Competency in financial analysis, human resource management and office/asset management
• Has a working knowledge of Philippine Taxation, Labor Laws and Computerized Accounting system
• Familiar with community development work and non-government organization (NGO) operations
• computer literate
Job Description
1. Recommends policies for the approval of the board
2. Ensures that insurances, licenses, permits and dues are taken care of on regular basis
3. Negotiates with service providers regarding security and safety of officer/s and premises
4. Ensures that foundation offices are orderly and properly maintained with proper office management policies and procedures
5. Takes custody of joint sureties, promissory notes, title and other collateral documents
6. Maintains the relevance of human resource policies, systems and procedures in areas such as screening and recruitment, performance appraisal and job evaluating
7. With the Executive Director, conducts periodic salary and benefits review and recommends workable salary structure and benefits design for approval by the board
8. Ensures that documents are properly received, logged and forwarded to specific departments
9. Ensures that data on the personnel, operations of the foundation are regularly collected, consolidated and kept and filed for ready access and reference.
10. Develops updates and oversees implementation of policies and systems of the treasury, accounting budget and internal financial auditing of the foundation
11. Creates appropriate financial and administrative policies, systems, procedures and processes that expedite operations and implementation of program goals and objectives
12. Supervises the application of a computerized accounting system and maximize it usage such than financial reports are comprehensive, up to date and accurate
13. 14 Take charge of annual financial audit for the foundation
14. 15. Tenders written opinion on external financial and program audit reports and recommends changes or modification on the financial policies, systems and procedures as applied to program partners and program management.
15. Reports to the Board on financial status of the Foundation as required.
The Administration and Finance Officer (AFO) will supervise the Cashier/bookkeeper as well as assistant for general services.
The AFO will liaise with the fund managers, partners, Treasurer and the board Committee on fiancé and Administration.
