POSITION : Designer-buyer
We are an Europe based trade company in fashion accessories field. Our head office is located in Brussels, capital of Belgium. We are looking for 1 local designer-buyer for our regional office in Hong Kong, departement of fantasy jewellery.
Qualification
Education
- You have devoted your studies (design) and your career (design + product management + purchasing) to this end
Experience
- You have an extended experience in purchasing and the managing of a collection.
Experience in fantasy jewellery will be a plus +++.
Other requirements
- Your are creative and have an eye for picking up tomorrow’s fashion trends.
- You are passionate about fashion.
- You are able to work under a minimum of supervision, you are organized, efficient, reliable and driven by results
- You are available for extensive travelling for visiting suppliers and trade fairs.
Tasks:
- making selection and building seasonal collection
- creating reference number and fill description of product into system existed
- developing products tailored to the needs of our customers (retails chain stores)
- placing orders to suppliers
- checking samples
- visiting fairs and suppliers for looking for new products

| Skills Required: |
Languages
- You will be able to work in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
Speaking French will be a plus+++.
Computer Skill
- general computer skill
- general internet knowledge
- knowledge about photoshop (if you are a superuser, it will be a plus+++) |
