| Job Description: |
We are seeking an experienced Thai national with an intimate knowledge of Thai cuisine who has had over five years of operating at a management level in a Thai restaurant in Thailand (or indeed elsewhere).
Responsibilities are to undertake the general duties of the day-to-day running of the Thai Orchid and manage all staff and operations from kitchen to front of house. To work with the directors in devising, implementing and maintaining an effective marketing strategy in order to run the business profitably.
The supervision, rostering, training and management of the Head Waiter and all other Waiting Staff including Bar Staff. To undertake the duties and responsibilities of the Designated Premises Supervisor under the terms and conditions of the Premises License.
To organize & control all staff activity Front Of house during opening times. Providing excellent customer service at all times and to ensure that all staff provides the same.
Training new staff where necessary & dealing with all aspects of Staff management including hiring, welfare, discipline and personnel issues as and when they arise.

Skills Required:: |
Strong management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to speak Thai, Chinese and English would be a great advantage.
