| Job Description: |
Our Client is in need of Senior Substation Automation Service Engineer.
Job Specification:
The purpose of this position is to execute Service orders and Projects handled by the Substation Automation team in Qatar. Key accountabilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
• The design, configuration and testing of Protection and Control Systems;
• Perform breakdown services, such as repairs and faultfinding on customer sites;
• Perform modifications to existing systems on customer sites;
• Installation, commissioning and documentation of protection and control systems; and
• Management of quality of total engineering efforts on assigned projects.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will:
• Be an experienced Engineer who can plan and problem solve independently;
• Be in possession of a BSc or equivalent Diploma in Electrical Engineering;
• Broad experience with Protection and Control systems is desired;
• A solid understanding of power transimission and distribution at all voltage levels is required;
• Technical competence in the field of Substation Automation is essential;
• A high level of computer literacy is essential;
• Be an analytical thinker;
• Be able to work under pressure, handle stress and have the ability to use own initiative.
