| Job Description: |
•Review and edit product manuals
•Participate in product reviews providing inputs before development
•Create and document test procedures for product (Test Cases)
•Conduct ongoing test for specified products
•Conduct Alpha test for specified products
•Have exceptional product familiarity in application of products tested
•Report problems to Engineering and verify solutions
•Perform technical note writing and review
•Setup products for Demonstration
•Demonstrate products for other in-house employees
•Participate in planning for future test efforts; evaluation of performance per specifications
•Evaluate quality risk for product changes/fixes and propose test plans to address risks

Skills Required:: |
•Good English verbal and written communication skills
•Familiarity with MS Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003. Ability to configure these systems to administrate shared drives either peer to peer or through dedicated access.
•Foundation Fieldbus and PlantWeb experience is desirable
•Ability/experience writing user documentation is a plus
•Advance troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are required to isolate Emerson software problems from third party software problems
•Ability to take ownership with minimum supervision
•Independently performs general analysis of failing test order to characterize and isolate failures to the application
•Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated leadership capabilities
•Demonstrate ability to independently complete projects within scheduled timeframes
•Basic product knowledge of all CSI products
•Familiar with test equipment if needed to perform job requirements
•Working knowledge of Product Development Process
