Resident position
Responsible for the following functions:
Implement Company procedures, change orders, amendments, insurance claims and general Contract administration etc.
Responsible for the review of all qualifications to the Form of Agreement submitted by Tenderers. Preparation of bidders qualification lists for discussion with the Project Lawyer; assist the Project Lawyer to assess the suitability of tenders with relation to financial status, Joint Venture structure, Parent Company Guarantee, Bid Bonds, Performance Bank Guarantees and Transferred Agreements.
Supervision of Document Controller to ensure Document Control and Filing are implemented in a systematic manner, such that documents are properly filed and not missing.
Negotiate and execute sub-contracts in accordance with project and Company procedures.
Administer main engineering services contract and project sub-contracts.
Assistance and provide guidance to Site managers and Contract Engineers.
Interface with Cost Control, Planning and Administration.
Advise YLNG Upstream Managers on particular Contractual issues related to main engineering services contract, sub-contracts and purchase order agreements.
Advise YLNG Upstream Managers on particular Contractual issues related to SEPOC contract
Analyze Contractual correspondence from Contractor and advise Management on response.
Analyses change requests received from Contractors make recommendations to Management; issue responses to Contractors.
Participate in meetings at the request of management.
Prepares changes to Contracts and obtains approval from Services Manager, Project Manager and Legal representative.
