Direct Report / Supervisor: Cfo & Office Principal
Role Overview
Under limited supervision, design’s, develops, implements and oversees financial policies and procedures by performing the following duties:-
Role Criteria
Representative Duties
- Provides leadership, direction and guidance in all aspects of accounting and financial management of a growing International company.
- Develops, reviews and implements financial processes to meet organizational goals and objectives.
- Maintains accounting and finance database systems.
- Develops and implements plans and actions to improve policy.
- Develops and analyzes annual office budgets.
- Assists offices in review and control of costs.
- Assists Project Managers with budgeting and financial analysis of consultancy services.
- Assists Marketing personnel with project proposal financials.
- Manage, train and mentor assigned staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and applications.
- Knowledge of related federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Skill in developing and implementing strategic plans and procedures for cost effective resource management
- Skill in effectively managing and leading staff, and delegating tasks and authority.
- Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
- Skill in analyzing and evaluating accounting and internal control methods and financial reports.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other departments and employees.
Team Leadership
- Develop employee talent skill and ability needed to achieve project and individual personal goals.
- Maintains high energy and a positive attitude in challenging situations; Motivates employees and builds team spirit; Acts as a role model for others.
- Builds effective teams and high morale, whose project team members have complimentary strengths.

Qualifications / Experience & Training
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Registration as Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
- Ten years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Service based or construction industry knowledge is an advantage
- Advanced computerization and software skills
Additional Requirements
- The candidate should be self motivated, creative and able to work under minimum level of supervision within a dynamic workload environment. Have sense of defining technical problems, collect appropriate and related data to establish solutions / results.
- The ability to prioritize significant tasks and responsibilities and take timely corrective action
- Must have a good command of the English language in order to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, together with technical and legal documents
