| Job Description: |
We are seeking someone who can take over the responsibilities for coordination, preparation and review of all financial related SEC (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) and Government reporting (Census) filings. Additionally, this position is responsible for the analysis and review of new accounting pronouncements; Preparation and review of 10-K and 10-Q filings (including ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements and coordination with external auditors). Other responsibilities:
Analyze and review new accounting pronouncements.
Evaluate the impact to the Company and present results to management.
Prepare and maintain the Company's accounting policy documentation.
Development of department staff (ensuring the performance management is being complied with effectively)
Establishing and continuously evaluating the department’s succession plan.
Oversee the Company's compliance with Census Reporting.
Coordinate and oversee special projects as requested by management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 6 years of public and/or private accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Must possess strong knowledge of SEC rules and regulations and U.S. accounting principles (U.S. GAAP).
Excellent oral and written and communication skills. |
