Progressive, high quality, 100% endocrinology practice in the desirable coastal city of UAE practice at only one office and only one hospital.
Practice Description Physicians are Medical Directors of Diabetes Center at hospital--and program has intentions of developing Center of Excellence in the region as well as unique hospital-wide inpatient diabetes case management program. The endo physician group will exclusively provides inpatient consults as well as protocol development and oversight for inpatient diabetes management. Group has active insulin pump program, provides education to the nursing staff with semi-annual "Current Trends in Diabetes;" programs. Care for wide array of endocrine problems from common (diabetes, thyroid, lipid, parathyroid, pituitary, osteoporosis, Paget's, etc.) to rare (MEN's, insulinomas, acromegaly, Cushings, generalized lipodystrophy, pheo's, carcinoid, glucagonoma, etc). Call is 1 in 3, endocrine only, and hospital is staffed by hospitalists (no ER call). The practice is currently involved in clinical research studies, with plans to expand research activity.
