Scholars International Academy (SIA) is an international school located on the Dubai / Sharjah border. Based on best practices and the latest teaching pedagogies, the school seeks a Foundation Stage Teacher who has the capabilities and creativity to inspire children and fellow teachers alike.
We are looking for an energetic, passionate individual who thinks out of the box and is committed to making a difference. An individual who wants to inspire and be inspired. An Individual who is imaginative and for whom education is a never ending process of self-learning.
The individual should preferably have knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage, May 2008: ECM UK) including the principles and themes of the "Every Child Matters" initiative. At SIA, we plan for the six areas of learning, but children`s independent play and exploration is also considered highly valuable. You should recognize and believe in the importance of this including active, peer learning. You will be required to measure the progress of each individual child in your class through the Foundation Stage Profile Points system.
