Project Controls Manager
About Us
Our client is a multi-service company providing studies, development, engineering and project management services for power, process and infrastructure projects. Our involvement in power is long established; services have been provided in some eighty countries, over five decades.
Our expertise covers the whole range of power sector projects including; thermal, hydro, renewable energy, and transmission and distribution systems.
Our clients transmission and distribution expertise covers all levels of voltage to 500KV.
About the Role
This position is based in Cameroon as part of the Power sector, the role will be for 12 months approximatley, details of responsibilities include;
Responsible for the collation of all project monitoring data cost and schedule at portfolio level.
Maintain and develop the central portfolio project data system (Primavera P5 / P6 Enterprise)
Provide cost and schedule data for inclusion in the monthly portfolio report.
Attend meetings to aid in the formulation of the portfolio monthly report.
Support the portfolio and project managers in the setting up and maintaining of schedules and cost data.
Liaise and obtain from project managers monthly project cost and schedule data throughout the life of projects.
Provide knowledge transfer to local staff where appropriate.
Maintain a central change control log for all projects.
Provide ad hoc support to the project directors in support of questions arising from Oversight meetings
About You
We are looking for candidates with experience in a similar posting with fluent written and spoken English. Demonstrable experience of project controls in the power (Generation, Transmission & Distribution) or oil & gas sector would be an advantage. Working knowledge of Primavera P5 / P6 (Enterprise) and Microsoft Project.
