This leading Hospital is seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer (MRI technologist) for a permanent role based in Qatar.
The Senior MRI Radiographer is responsible for scanning all patients requiring MRI under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
They are also to provide in cooperation with the Radiology Director, clinical leadership within the radiology team.
They are to undertake and supervise the training of other Radiographers in Mri.
Major Duties And Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate knowledge and application of the Organisation’s mission, vision and values.
2. Assumes responsibility for patient care and safety to prevent unwanted accident.
3. Direct scanning of patients.
4. Work with the Radiology Director and Chief Radiologist to ensure provision of quality MRI.
5. Management of technical and equipment related issues around MRI and to be aware about MRI safety programme.
6. Provide after hour services as directed by the Chief Radiologist.
7. Provide training for Radiographers in MRI.
8. Provide back-up to Radiographers in other modalities as appropriate at the direction of the Radiology Director
To apply you will have Recognized basic qualification in radiography. Recognized post-graduate qualifications in MRI is also required and any appropriate practical experience in MRI particularly musculoskeletal is an advantage.
