| Job Description: |
• To provide guidance to client’s Information Technology Department in the design, development, testing and implementation of best-of-breed integrated software applications that seamlessly complement all the aspects of container terminal operations
• To provide guidance to client in implementing a robust, reliable and secure IT infrastructure that complies with global standards
• Guide client’s IT Manager in setting priorities to priorities to projects
• Establish project methodology in coordination with client’s IT Manager |
| Skills Required: |
IT Manager
a. Degree in IT or related field
b. Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT, preferably with domain knowledge in port, shipping, transport or logistics
c. Strong experience in IT infrastructure and relational databases
d. Minimum 3 years management / supervisory experience preferably in an international container terminal
e. Track record in handling Applications Development and Implementation projects
f. Previous experience with implementation of container terminal operations system will be a plus
g. Previous experience in designing and conducting IT training programs will be advantageous
h. Excellent communication (oral and written) and leadership skills
i. Experience in liaising with vendors, suppliers, and users
j. Highly independent, resourceful, and results-oriented
k. Proficiency of the Chinese language is advantageous |
