-- Responsible for performing economic research and studies in specialized areas such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements.
-- Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management.
-- Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing.
-- Communicates in written and presentation format financial analysis and projections to Senior Business Leaders.
-- To work on moderately complex accounts and makes decisions relating to accounts as needed.
-- Provides knowledge and expertise to less experienced Analysts.
-- Interfaces with internal customers in determining legal solutions to various accounting issues.
-- Develops models for use in bidding new business.
-- Performs in-depth analysis of numerous accounting problems and makes recommendations on best approach solutions.
-- Ensures accounting compliance with GAAP, legal, and government regulations. |
| Skills Required: |
-- 5-10 years of progressive
-- Directly related experience in Accounting or Finance. Experience with PeopleSoft-7.5 or higher.
-- Experience with Microsoft-Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
-- Bachelors Degree in Accounting. |
