Job Specification: Multimedia Lecturers' responsibilities include: Designing, revising and teaching courses on the BA in 'Multimedia' program - approx 12 contact hours per week. Helping with the general running of the Department of Multimedia. Taking initiatives to develop the Multimedia program to become the best in Asia. Prosecuting research and getting actively involved in the academic discipline as well as building contacts with local industry.
Specific BA courses requiring lecturers at the moment include "Time Based Media", "Media and Popular Culture", "Making Documentaries", "Interaction Design", "Collaborative Environments" and "Narrative and Story-Boarding". However you will be given courses that fit your particular background and interests.
Person Specification Multimedia lecturers should preferably have a Masters in a Multimedia Related Subject (eg Communication Arts, Graphic Design etc). He or she must be able to demonstrate the ability to teach learner centred classes, take initiative and be creative in the classroom. On a personal level she or he should be adaptable, a team player, capable of maintaining good professional relations with colleagues and students from a variety of backgrounds, and open to suggestions and ideas from others. Above all, applicants must be passionate about teaching.

Additional desirable, but not essential attributes are: A Tesol/tefl Certification Experience of ELT at tertiary level in Thailand A Masters or PhD in a Multimedia related field Experience within the Multimedia Industry Willingness to represent the Faculty at education fairs and on school visits throughout Thailand.
