| Job Description: |
Roles & Responsibilities:
1-manage mechanical equipment and system construction activities through daily interaction with contractors, suppliers, vendors and plant staff as they relate to safety, scheduling, quality control and cost.
2.Monitor and oversee the installation, erection, commissioning, and start-up of: CTG, STG, PC and CFB boilers, HSRG, aux boiler, BFW pumps, condenser and feed water / heat exchangers, cooling tower, AQCS equipment, and FD / ID fans; steam, condensate, feed water, coal and ash handling, fuel oil, instrument and service air, circulating water and water treatment systems; and all pipe, valve, fittings, etc.
3.Provide a quality control function for project construction and shop fabrication activities by inspection, record review, monitoring, and testing for compliance with contractual specifications and procedures as well as applicable codes and standards. Engineers, etc
4.Review contractor's monthly reports and schedule updates, and review, negotiate, adjust, and approve contractor's monthly earned progress (schedule of values) used as the basis for the application for payment.
5.Assist in verification and negotiation of contractor's SCN's, ECN's, and change orders for work scope, specifications, schedule and cost impacts.
6.Develop estimates, project specifications and scope of work plans associated with miscellaneous construction projects. Evaluate bids to assure technical compliance with equipment and material specifications; conduct negotiations with contractors and suppliers to determine most cost effective proposal.
7.Maintain adherence to all document control procedures to ensure complete documentation of project activities.
8.Investigate and review constructability methods and technology related to power plant engineering, procurement, and construction; initiate improvements that will maximize the efficiency of work and contribute to the Construction Management organization.

| Skills Required: |
-Extensive experience in field engineering and construction management of large-scale power generation projects.
-10 - 20 years of proven power industry experience, with an undergraduate degree from an accredited college in Engineering or Construction Management.
-Solid working knowledge and familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards: ASME B&PV Code, ASTM, ANSI, API, AWS, NFPA, OSHA, etc. And discipline specific NDE inspection procedures and protocols.
-Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as dictated by project schedules, and ability to travel to other Dynegy power plant sites is required..
