| Job Description: |
The Saint-Gobain European Research and Engineering Centre (CREE) was established in 2001 in Cavaillon, (Vaucluse, France) and is part of the High Performance Materials sector within the Saint-Gobain group. CREE is one of the three largest research centres among the 15 laboratories worldwide within the Saint-Gobain group. The research teams work on innovative products and production processes, from exploratory research through to the demonstration of technical and commercial feasibility. You will meet a variety of multi-cultural specialists who are developing cutting-edge expertise in the areas of polymers, ceramics, electro-chemicals, grains, powders, abrasives and surface sciences.
Within the context of environmental regulations limiting automobile pollution, particle emissions leaving the motor must be treated. In particular, diesel cars are limited by such restrictions. Therefore it is necessary to create a filtration system in the exhaust pipe. The R&D group Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), based at CREE, works on the generation of new products for this application, with the objective of proposing innovative solutions for the treatment of automobile emissions. To reinforce the DPF group, Saint-Gobain CREE has created a new position for an R&D Engineer Specialized in Catalysed Applications (M/F) - Based in Cavaillon, France.
