Aeronautical Engineer
Location: Laurel, Md 20723

Job Scope
· To predict and model the aerodynamic characteristics of missiles and other flight vehicles.
· Use both aerodynamic engineering codes and computational fluid dynamics to compute airframe performance.
Job Description
· Use a variety of resources and tools to compute missile airframe aerodynamic characteristics
· Use aerodynamic modeling architecture to develop aero-models for various missiles and flight vehicles.
· Support wind tunnel testing and analyze missile flight tests
· Participate in wind tunnel tests to capture critical aerodynamics characteristics and render data into high fidelity aerodynamic models.
· Develop and support flight simulation models
· Participate in new business development as well as independent research and development initiatives
Job Requirements
· MS in Aeronautical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with training in Aerodynamics, vehicle control and dynamics and computational fluid dynamics
· 3-5 years experience in airframe aerodynamics analysis, wind tunnel testing and aerodynamic model development
· Active Secret clearance
· Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
