| Job Description: |
This leading Organisation is seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Analyst for a full-time role based in Qatar.
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst provides support and analysis of total compensation structures for the implementation team and researches the data in preparation for the medical center staffing.
S/he participates in standard compensation surveys and research studies, analyze group benefit offerings, contributes to the development of job descriptions and evaluation system and manages compensation databases.
S/he liaises with the Human Resources Department as appropriate, and provides routine advice and support regarding the interpretation and administration of policies, guidelines, and procedures related to salaries and group and expatriate benefits.
She/he oversees the Human Resources Information System, payroll documents and directs the Human Resources Information Services team for HR data management, employee records and timely payroll process.
Other duties will include:
• Analyzes data and proposes project plans for implementing necessary changes to Compensation structures.
• Provides salary proposals for all newly created positions, either through internal movements or external hiring.
• Serves as a resource to HR Recruiting team for compensation issues related to job offers to external candidates.
• Researches and analyzes competitive compensation practices in the job market; contributes to established compensation surveys and/or develops and implements custom surveys as appropriate.
• Provides routine, day-to-day advice and support to HR partners regarding the implementation and interpretation of compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Reviews completed job descriptions; performs job evaluations and comparisons to determine appropriate compensation and salary level placement.
• Advises new employees by explaining group and expatriate benefits, leave policies, etc. and advises them of eligibility for benefits. Assists with the completion of enrolment documents; responds to employee queries; maintains employee benefits records; develops procedures on the administration of benefits within the Human Resources office
• Coordinates the Qatar-specific benefits including relocation expenses, housing and transportation allowances, education for children, mobile allowance and repatriation expenses, etc.; initiates and administers the annual leave allowances.
• Develops and maintains a database of benefits and usage by employee.
• Conducts payroll audit against monthly employee activity.
• Troubleshoots payroll queries.
• Oversees and processes monthly payroll related documents, calculates retro pay, salary adjustments for base pay and allowances and ensures all the HR/Payroll documents have been completed/processed in time.
• Maintains and updates HRIS system; consults with IT Department regarding problems with HRIS programming and data integrity, and makes recommendations for system enhancements.
• Responsible for initiating and/or correcting any erroneous information in regards to compensation in the HRIS system.
• Tracks completion of Probation Evaluation Reports.
To apply for the role you will possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
A Minimum of five years of related experience, including payroll, knowledge of international salary and benefit practices and knowledge of HRIS system preferred.
