This leading Organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Budget and Financial Analyst for a full-time role based in Qatar.
The Senior Budget and Financial Analyst assists in the development, implementation, and management of the Organisations budget. S/he applies fundamental budgetary concepts, practices and procedures. S/he participates in the financial planning processes. S/he will assist in the development of ERP applications and financial reporting systems.
Your duties in the role will include:
Participates in budget planning processes and assists Departmental Managers and staff in understanding budget requirements and budgeting methods.
Identifies key data elements and relationships between data elements.
Conceptualizes and develops complex departmental financial models that simulate expected operations based on data relationships, including the use of independent and dependant variables.
Assists Departmental Managers in developing staffing models and staffing requirements based on projected activities and workload measurement.
Participates in the development and construction of overall operational budget.
Assists in developing financial and statistical reporting structure and the corresponding financial and management reports.
Prepares formal budget documents, revenue and expense projections, and other specialized financial reports and analyses.
Assists in the development of ERP applications and financial reporting systems
Plays a key roll in the development of inventory management processes utilized in the ERP system and their operational interfaces to the various patient care systems
Provides training to Departmental Managers and staff with respect to budgeting and financial reporting systems.
In view of the developing and changing needs and opportunities during this start-up phase, this position may perform other duties as assigned.
To apply for the role you will possess a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, ideally with a Professional accounting designation
A Minimum of 5 years experience with experience in the budgeting and financial reporting within a large-scale institution.
You will also have a demonstrated knowledge of budget processes and preparation, High level ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.
Also desired is good knowledge of complex financial systems (ERP) and knowledge of software to quantify and illustrate complex financial reports, comparisons, impacts, and/or projections.
In return you will receive a TAX FREE salary in the region of USD $75K+ (negotiable to the right person).
