| Job Description: |
The Fault Monitoring Support Engineer will ensure network availability, detect and correct faults according to Fault Monitoring process. He will maintain network status information and support to customer teams to guarantee subscriber satisfaction for the offered service. He will ensure that activities are carried out according to the Fault Monitoring (FM) process, including escalation (fault prioritization) change Monitoring.
General requirements:
• Working knowledge of Alarm Monitoring, FMTools, Flexi BTS, Element Manager, BSC through Netact and ensure their proper follow up.
• Experience with Fault Monitoring with Nokia Tools, entities (BSC/BTS) and Processes
• Willing to work and help in the shifts and activities whenever its needed.
• Trouble handling reporting under the direction of the Network Operation Centre
• Prioritization of faults and immediate corrective actions according to Fault Monitoring Process
• Strong troubleshooting and second level skills.
• Verification of fault rectification
• Recording of daily trouble causing cases (trouble ticketing)
• Good understanding of English.
• Telecom Engineering Degree or equivalent
