Our client is a major public hospital providing healthcare services to a population of around 103,000 people in the centre of the North Island. The district is also well known for its other outdoor recreational options including fishing, tramping, cycling, mountain biking as well as lake and river water sports such as boating and kayaking.
Our client is looking for enthusiastic consultants to join our dynamic department of 12 consultants which has expanded rapidly over the past 2 years.
You will be expected to provide Anaesthesia services for all major surgical specialties excluding Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery. A major upgrade is currently being planned for theatres and ICU.

| Skills Required: |
• Proven experience in the provision of anaesthetic and intensive care services in a large and busy public health service.
• Preferably a Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists or eligible to register with the New Zealand Medical Council
