Structural engineer to develop designs for steel and concrete structures at new generation nuclear power plant sites. Will prepare calculations, specifications and drawings under the supervision of senior engineers. Will interface with designers and other disciplines.

Must Have Skills:
B.S. In Civil Engineering. Excellent structural design competence in reinforced concrete and structural steel. In-depth knowledge of structural codes (U.S. Standards) such as AISC,ASCE, IBC,UBC, ACI and ASME. Proficiency in GT-STRUDL, Finite Element Analysis software and other Civil/Structural design software. Effective report and technical specification writing skills requirements and techniques. Responsible for design, procurement support and construction specifications/drawings. Bid preparation, evaluations and response to questions/requests, review submittals, witness tests. Ability to interact with the office team and construction team - excellent communication skills (in English), both verbal and written. Excellent understanding of relevant office computer software, e.G. MsWord, MsExcel, MsOutlook; and use of Auto CAD. |
