| Job Description: |
Our client in Gibraltar is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to report to the Group Finance Director whose main duties are below.
Responsibility for production of monthly management accounts (circulated to Group Board) and annual statutory accounts.
Responsibility for timely submission of gaming, VAT, corporate and other regulatory tax returns.
Set up and maintenance of initial accounting systems, policies and procedures
Preparation of regular budgets and forecasts for submission to Group Board.
Primary contact for Gibraltar bankers, auditors, tax authorities and other external bodies
Responsibility for the provision of daily and weekly business performance reports (including variance analysis).
Responsibility for control of fixed costs in Gibraltar.
Proactive approach in the design and implementation of new accounting and business reporting to meet the developing needs of the business.
Assisting the marketing department in analysing key data.
Analysis of competitor financial performance.
Financial review and approval of marketing and technical contracts.
Member of Gibraltar Board
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Formally qualified accountant fluent in English
Prior experience in a senior financial position
Excellent accounting and financial reporting skills
Very familiar with MS Office applications (Excel to a high standard)
Highly organized and detail oriented with through follow up skills
Detailed understanding of key business drivers to contribute to commercial decision making
Salary dependant on experience
