For our client, a diversified global manufacturing and technology company, we are looking for the appropriate person for the above mentioned position.
Purpose of the job:
To perform a variety of functions as related to the installation, commissioning, optimization and tuning of Company Process Management Power & Water Solutions systems.To Apply complex engineering knowledge in support of the design and analysis of the technical products and/or services.
Location: 30% Prague - home office, 70% Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
* Perform engineering design /analysis and propose solutions to problems which are partially defined and moderately complex in nature, requiring knowledge and experience within a given discipline / function
* Perform process start up, tuning and optimization of the Technological process. Provide the high level of expertise for process start up like Unit Coordinating control, Turbine start up and Advance control of the boiler
* Perform commissioning of company DCS control systems hardware and software components
* Provide technical direction of the Field Engineering portion of major projects
* Assist in investigation and resolution of system related customer complaints. Resolve and/or recommend solutions to these complaints
* Initiate on time reports to keep management and customer representatives informed on project progress
* Keep up to date on latest software and hardware developments
* Develop good relations with customer representatives, project and third party vendors. Emphasis Total Quality and Customer satisfaction
* Participate in defining and performing acceptance tests
* Work closely with project tem leaders and coordinate all field changes approve any field changes in the system installation, project functional, and other system parameters if required. Make sure, that all field changes are properly documented and approved by customer
* Analyze and solve engineering problems associated with customer site installation, commissioning, and operation of companies control systems, its sub-systems, and / or specific control equipment which are within company scope
* Provide the technical guidance and / or directions to customer support personnel, sub-vendors and other personnel engaged in: start up, tuning phase and commissioning phase
* Assistance in providing direct engineering advisory to the customer on topics within the company DCS systems
* Follow guidelines as established in Quality Manuals
* Become as knowledgeable as possible on company Process Management product, participating in training programs, and through individual effort and initiative
* Perform other related duties as assigned
* Needs to ensure that all transaction are properly screened in accordance with the Companies Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper

| Skills Required: |
* Degree qualified in engineering (Control Engineering, Power engineering)
* Minimum 5 years experience in the process control system industry, power generation
* Strong experience of the DCS project application
* Strong experience in Process Start up (Tuning) and Commissioning in the process automation, control performance Familiarity with the Process Automation & Control Industry is a MUST
* Extensive travelling to customer site within country and as well abroad travelling
* Prepared to travel whenever necessary and on short notice
* Fluent in English Language (written, spoken, additional language plus)
* Good computer skills
* Willing to work in a team
* Mature personality which is very much self-driven and self-motivated |
