Mechanical Fitters x 200
Mechanical fitters should be time served and/or hold relevant certificates in mechanical engineering and related subjects from recognized bodies.
Certificates include City & Guilds, NVQ, NSDS, ECITB and any other relevant qualifications.
Basic skills required are:
Measurements for Mechanical Applications
Marking out for Mechanical Applications
Making and Fitting Mechanical Components
Assembly of Mechanical Components
Machining and Turning of Mechanical Components
Alignment and Line and Leveling of Mechanical Components
Maintenance of Mechanical Kit and Components
To Understand and Read Mechanical Drawings

Skills Required:: |
Experience of power generation (gas/steam turbines) and associated auxiliary equipment is preferable.
