| Job Description: |
Minor Fabrication Yard CSR shall look after all material received and fabrications required supporting
offshore installation requirements. He shall reports to the Senior Workpack Engineer.
• To review and own pre-fabrication packages that are assigned to them for implementation.
• Main driver for minor fabrication activities assigned and ensuring that they are executed in the most cost
effective manner and in compliance with company policy and contractual specifications, procedures and
required quality of workmanship and to meet Required On Site (ROS) date.
• Ensure HSE compliance during fabrication works. These will include driving Company’s safety
management policy, exercising and promoting the use of accident control technique, implementing
accident investigation procedures and so on.
• Managing the Minor Fabrications’ CAT 3 contract.
• Monitor work progress, activity & resource planning and assess consequence of change or delay on the
overall progress of the work. To provide feedback to the Senior Workpack Engineer and respective
Construction Engineers (Project) and Project Engineers.
• Focal point at site in managing the performance monitoring of the contract.
• Respond to any emergencies that may occur during works in accordance with the established procedures.
• Provide proper feedback on problems/lesson learnt at work sites to relevant parties.
• Responsible to return surplus and cost-plus items procured for the specific projects.
• Responsible to ensure the Minor Fabrication Yard waste management in line with the Company and
Authority requirements |
Skills Required:: |
Candidate must have recognized degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 years working
Experience in oil & gas industry or technical diploma with 15 years total work experience in oil & gas
Industry.
Must have experience at least 5 years in fabrication of structural, piping and/or pressure vessel.
Candidate with working experience in project co-ordination work, quality control, and progress control
And safety management is preferred.
Knowledgeable in material, structural, piping, pipeline and pressure vessels design and fabrication Codes
(ASTM, AWS D1.1, API 1104, Asme Viii, Asme Ix etc.), and Standards (DEPs and SESs).
Must have proven track record on Job Hazard Analysis (or equivalent) and Risk Assessment. Shall have
Supervisory experience in works with major oil company that practice JHA and RA and provide
Supporting document(s).
Good site management skills in communication and delegation. |
