Our client in Gibraltar is searching for a 2nd line Support Engineer to be responsible for covering 1st and 2nd line queries and providing technical help desk services to all offices. This is a primarily hands-on position and would suit someone with approx 3 years in a similar role.
The responsibilities are for 1st and 2nd Line Support for all of the 11 offices for the Microsoft Office XP suite, Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server Administration issues and providing ad-hoc training when required. Experience with hardware and software upgrades, PC configuration/installation and troubleshoot, active directory services, TCP/IP and general basic WAN/LAN troubleshooting capabilities, Blackberry, VOIP also required.
You will be dedicated to continued learning in the IT field, specifically helpdesk, and you will be supported by the company in this endeavour.
Candidates living outside of Gibraltar (but in Europe) with strong links, or strong motivation, to be here will be considered.
Salary is £20k – 22k depending on experience |
