| Job Description: |
~ Maintain communication with key business stakeholders and act as adviser and consultant to local management on business matters having IS implications, in order to achieve competitive advantage and facilitate business development.
~ Anticipate and understand future IS needs and translate overall business strategy into IS Plan
~ Execute the IS Plan through leading the deployment, localization and support of global & core business system solutions, as well as the development and maintenance of local and regional IS solutions
~ Ensure local business needs is met following the global organization’s standards and procedures, and work & leverage on the Global IS offering for the delivery of IS services required by the business.
~ Ensure that IS Services delivered in an optimum way
~ Ensure proper service management processes are in place in order to maximize business efficiency.
~ Ensure adherence to all the organization’s policies and guidelines (security, compliance) in order to minimize risks regarding confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information
~ Ensure all IS expenditures are properly documented, budgeted and approved and regularly carry out budget controls & cost projections to ensure availability of funds & avoid overspending.
~ Lead and develop an adaptable, flexible and agile IS organization that attracts, develops and retains the best global talent in order to deliver IS services required by affiliate business, currently and in the future.
~ Plan and manage the delivery of consulting and other services by external and internal suppliers in order to ensure delivered service levels meet the business needs. |
| Skills Required: |
~ Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Science or related discipline
~ At least 12 years working experience in IT, preferably with Manufacturing and Sales/Distribution background, & has worked in a multi-national environment.
~ Minimum 5 years experience in a management capacity.
~ Knowledge of office automation, network technology standards, business application design and development methodologies.
~ Good business sense, management skills, decisiveness and project management.
~ Strong problem solving skills, ability to work independently under minimum supervision and to assume greater responsibility. |
