ITMS Technical Consultant - Standort Frankfurt

Role and Responsibilities
O Working within the newly formed IT Managed Services Business Unit this position is a
Senior technical customer facing role. The candidate must have a broad knowledge of SAP and general business application implementation and have in depth knowledge of Wintel environments, storage, LAN, WAN (including CISCO) technologies.
O The candidate will be expected to provide technical pre sales support on a variety of application and infrastructure services to our sales teams and would be expected to technically projectmanage the implementation of these services.
O As a Manager within the ITMS BU a positive contribution to the strategic development of the BU will be encouraged.
O Excellent customer facing skills are required along with the ability to communicate and present ideas to all levels of management.
O There will be a requirement for the candidate to travel within Europe occasionally.
Key Responsibilities
O Pre sales technical support to sales teams for a variety infrastructure and application technologies
O Support for Service Managers and Account Managers for strategic accounts
O Project Manage the implementation of IT services to customers
O Ensuring new implementations can be effectively supported by the provision of documentation and training.
O Proactively develop product ideas and sales opportunities to continually improve P & L for ITMS division.
O Contribute to the strategic direction of the ITMS roadmap
O Establish and maintain relationships with ITMS customers
O Highlighting customer infrastructure weakness and proposing solutions
O Provide 3rd line support for customer infrastructure issues
Daily Operations
O Support Account Management teams in the response to RFPs
O Attend sales meetings with customers and present technical solutions
O Design technical solutions for customers
O Project manage the implementation of technical solutions
O Respond to service desk issues and escalations pertaining to customer infrastructure
O Troubleshoot customer infrastructure to ascertain root cause
O Act on customer escalations
O Regular reporting and, where appropriate, escalation to ITMS Head.
O Creation of service manuals, process flows and other related documentation for operational support teams.
O Provide consultancy to customers and deliver comprehensive reports in writing
O Provide training to operational support staff
Required Skills
O Excellent customer facing skills - Must have demonstrated ability to liase with client
Representatives up to board level.
O Must have a track record of handling escalations within high stress environment and managing clients expectations.
O Experience in managing suppliers
O Minimum of 3 years experience of supporting and implementing SAP
O Some appreciation of business process, ITIL and Prince 2
O 3 years hands on experience of the following;
O LAN and WAN Infrastructure Support ( CISCO, BlueCoat, Riverbed, Juniper, IPVPN, IPSEC)
O Server Support
( Primary: Windows Server 2003/ Windows Infrastructure (DNS, DHCP etc) and AD, IBM hardware, Citrix MF Windows/ Admin, Automated patch deployment to server estate)
Secondary: Tivoli monitoring, SAN, Sun Solaris(Unix), VMWare
O Typical tasks associated with the above include:
O AD administration (user accounts, permissions, GPO, auditing)
O Base installation
O Troubleshooting - reacting to alerts - syslog investigating
O Access Permissions
O Maintenance scripts
O DNS/ DHCP support
O Application of patches/fixes.
O Server hardware build, install, configuration and troubleshooting
O TCP/IP, DNS/WINS, DHCP
O Server Remote Monitoring
O Citrix Metaframe support and maintenance
