| Job Description: |
Our client is searching for a Compliance Officer for its compliance function to report to the Compliance Director and take control of the department. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company is following controls and procedures which have been established previously to address the risks and regulations appropriate to the company. You will have a number of years experience in a compliance role, ideally in a banking / financial services environment.
Responsibilities include:
Daily checks of applications
Review of exceptional reports for unusual transactions, changes to client risk ratings and similar.
Periodic review of sanctions lists and reporting changes.
Quarterly review of financial resources calculations against regulatory standards.
Project based assignments to review and comment on the functioning of specific control areas.
Corresponding with the FSC on regulatory and licensing matters and assisting with the preparation and submission of reports.
Keeping up to date with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines and news relevant to the role.
Assisting in staff training
Salary dependant on experience.
