Job Description: Integrate and validate Oracle RDBMS Cluster Solutions with Dell Hardware and Storage on Linux and Windows OS. Perform root cause analysis of technical issues. Conduct performance studies to create sizing data on supported configurations. Publish technical white papers to share best practices/participate in external events and conferences.
Profile of Candidate:
• Should have exposure to enterprise server hardware and storage, Exposure to Dell enterprise hardware would be a plus.
• Should have hands-on experience on Oracle 9i/10g, understanding of Oracle RDBMS Internals and exposure to database application development would be plus, Exposure to SQL Server would be a plus.
• Must have hands-on experience on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL3/RHEL4) Exposure to Oracle RAC on Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 would be a plus.
• Familiarity with Fiber Channel Storage, Storage Area Network (SAN) and Familiarity with Storage Management Tools would be a plus.
• Should have hands-on experience on creating/using test plans, test cases and defect tracking systems. Experience in writing technical white papers would be a plus.
• Experience with performance analysis is a plus. Knowledge of Intel processor architecture is a plus.
• Should have 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Should have excellent written and spoken communication. Experience involving day-to-day interaction with distributed teams based at US would be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification of Candidate:
• Should have a graduate or post-graduate degree in Engineering (E&C/CS/IS)
.Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS
Experience: 3 to 5 years of industry experience in embedded software development
Will report into: Engineering Manager
