Purpose of Job
To provide comprehensive Production Technology expertise to the subsurface study team in a Petroleum Engineering organisation.
Principle Accountabilities
-Provide production technology input into the study team to ensure project value is maximised.
-Perform studies covering but not limited to sand management, smart well deployment, completion and stimulation design.
-Implement fit-for-purpose technologies to maximise project value
-Lead a project through the well delivery process.
-Provide Production Technology input in VARs, RtLs and peer assists, as required.
-Coaching, mentoring & developing local Bruneian staff will be an integral part of the job. |
Skills Required:: |
Skill/Competence
-A good team player with track record in conducting Production Technology studies. Experience in oil rim development and gas cap blowdown studies would be an advantage.
-Excellent inter-personal and team skills. Experience working in a multi-discipline and/or multi-cultural team would be advantage.
-A proven ability to apply innovative and cost-effective ways of working is expected.
Minimum Qualifications and experience required
-A university degree in Engineering or any other related engineering discipline.
-Minimum of 8 years in Production technology experience with field development planning experience.
-Proficient in the use of the following tools; Prosper, IPM, Welcat. Experience in PWRI-frac, FIST, STIM2001 and Shellfrac would be an advantage.
